Specialty operator (Rail)

Join the newest addition to the SouthRoads team, looking after the bottom of the South's Rail network - SouthRail. 

SouthRail are their own team with new equipment that will complete track and formation maintenance work for KiwiRail within the Lower South Island using hi-rail excavators. 

This is role is a specialist operator role that;

• The machinery is specifically built for rail maintenance and construction work

• Similar to roading there is a lot of support services associated to rail including but not limited to, bridging, culverts, retaining walls, vegetation control, slips and drop outs and emergency activities
