Shane Brown

Shane started with SouthRoads in 2004 in our asphalt surfacing team, in 2007, after a brief stint in the Bridging and Construction team, where he installed many an underpass, he keenly took on the Asphalt Surfacing Foremen role completing a variety of asphalt works throughout Southland and Central Otago and completing a National Certificate in Pavement Surfacing. 

In 2013, he made a progression into contract management and in 2017, he completed a Diploma in Engineering (Civil) at Otago Polytechnic and was awarded the CCNZ Southland Branch Peoples Award and in 2020, moved into the Divisional Manager role.

Shane enjoys being involved with projects from private driveways right through to large commercial developments and finding quality solutions for our customers.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, getting outdoors and jet boating.
